A Pleasant Dog Offering Free Dog Training in Grand Rapids

Following a summer series,  A Pleasant Dog is once again teaming up with the City of Grand Rapids to offer free dog training for residents.

In business in Grand Rapids for ten years, A Pleasant Dog's mission is to improve the lives of people and their dogs through training, education, and research. A Pleasant Dog offers gentle, modern dog training through group classes or private sessions.

Starting in September 16, A Pleasant Dog is offering 10 upcoming workshops. Each is a stand-alone class.

Topics include:

  • Appropriate Greetings
  • Handling Distractions
  • Walking your dog in the city
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Teaching your dog to come when called
  • Barkour - Dog Parkour

A Pleasant Dog is also hosting a workshop on reactive dogs at their facility Oct. 9.This that this class if for humans only.

All dogs coming to classes must be up-to-date on vaccines and have a clean fecal sample done with your vet in the pest six months.

Please take note - one dog person is allowed. Leashes are required. A Pleasant Dog suggests you bring lots of treats.
