Grand Rapids Distillery Opens New Location in Rockford

A Grand Rapids' Distillery has relocated its main operation to Rockford - and the new facility is now open!

Eastern Kille Distillery Moves to Plainfield Township

Eastern Kille Distillery first opened in Grand Rapids' North Monroe neighborhood in 2015 under the name Gray Skies Distillery LLC, creating premium craft spirits and cocktails.

The business underwent a name change in 2019, following a trademark dispute with Skyy Vodka.

In summer of 2021, Eastern Kille Distillery sold their manufacturing and tasting room at 700 Ottawa Ave NW to Spectrum Health (now Corewell Health).

The health system is planning a new eight-story office tower in the area.

Eastern Kille announced at the time they'd be opening a new facility, including a restaurant and cocktail garden on a 16-acre site at 7755 Childsdale Ave. NE in Rockford.

We appreciate each and every one of you that have walked through these doors the past 8 years and the relationships we’ve built because of it. We never would have guessed we would have made lifelong friends with so many co-workers and customers, and these 4 walls and a leaky roof had a lot to do with that.
