Check Out This ‘Enchanted’ Forest Located Here In Michigan

Happy first day of Halloween October. October is the time for all things spooky, ghoulish, and otherworldly. All month long, the seasons are changing, and the undead are getting more and more restless until October 31st when they emerge to terrorize y'alls neighborhoods. 

However, there is one forest here in Michigan that provides a more light-hearted family-friendly outing where everyone can go and be mesmerized by a magically illuminated trail full of fairies, wraiths, and wonder.

Glenlore Trails - Enchanted

Glenlore Trails located at 3860 Newton Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48382 returns for another fall of wonder. While this is a bit of a hike from Grand Rapids, this experience is similar to something you'd find in a Disney movie or even the Happiest Place on Earth itself. The mile-long trail features interactive activities, colorful lights, and captivating sounds.

For Adults, Too

While Glenlore Trails is a family-friendly event, that doesn't mean they don't make time for adults to have fun. On Friday 10/4 and 10/25, they will have a 21+-only night with live music. Plus, the website advertises that if you want to avoid younger families, the evening time slots tend to be more adult-oriented.

This is Glenlore Trail's fifth year here in Michigan. Last year's theme was "CarnEvil" and featured eerie clowns and other carnival-related activities. Ticket prices range from $12 for kids, $20 for 13+, and $15 for seniors. Group rates of 5+ tickets are available for $18. You can purchase tickets here.
