Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Has a Motel Specifically for ‘Bigfoot Enthusiasts’

Located in Crystal Falls, Michigan, the Bigfoot Hideaway is a bigfoot enthusiast's dream.

Not only are you in an area of the state that seems perfect for a bigfoot sighting, but you also have access to a pretty spectacular gift shop that boasts all things bigfoot.

The Bigfoot Hideaway in Crystal Falls, Michigan

According to their own description on their website, the Bigfoot Hideaway is "an ideal choice for Bigfoot enthusiasts and Northern Travelers passing through."

The motel has just six rooms but can accommodate parties of different sizes.

And, they have wifi, cable, free parking, and even air conditioning.

Sadly, for those who prefer to not have to talk to someone when they make travel accommodations, the Hideaway only accepts reservations via phone. But, you can choose from a couple of different room styles.

There's the "standard room" which features either one or two beds and starts at $69.99 per night or $398 for a week. It also has a mini fridge, a microwave, and is pet-friendly (for an extra fee.)

The "bunk house" is slightly more expensive at $160 per night and $600 per week. However, it sleeps anywhere from 5-6 guests and features a living space, a washer/dryer, and an outside porch with access to a BBQ.

What to Do in Crystal Falls, Michigan

There's a ton to experience in Crystal Falls outside of hunting for bigfoots (bigfeet?)

There are several museums including the Iron County Historical Museum and the Iron Mountain Iron Mine.

Or if waterfalls are more your speed there are several close by including the Chicagoan Falls and the Fumee Falls.
