Local Indoor Dog Park Closing After Years Of Serving Community Pets
If you have a dog you know that a dog park is probably an essential place for your furry pal. Dog parks provide a space for dogs to interact with other dogs, which is key for their social development. This helps reduce behavioral problems and promotes friendly behavior among pets. Not to mention all of the exercise they get to help keep them fit.

For owners, a dog park is also a cool place to meet new people and build new friendships.

Most dog parks we think of are outdoors where they can play and run freely. But there are some much-loved indoor dog parks that offer everything the outdoor parks can.
But, there is some sad news to share.
The owners of The Pack Indoor Dog Park on West River in Comstock Park, have decided to close. They just announced their last day in business will be next Saturday, September 19th.
After years of running this business with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (both happy and sad) circumstances are saying that the time has come to walk away and say goodbye to so many fun and furry friends.

Owners, Raechel and Joelle wrote on their Facebook page:
"We've been able to see dogs grow up and so many wonderful friendship form in our building. We have gotten to know many of you as family and loved your dogs as our own. We've had an incredible staff throughout the years who we can't thank enough. Their dedication to our business and the care and love they provided to the dogs in our care was more than we could've asked for."
They did say that for all dog owners who have bought memberships, they will not walk away. They will reach out to each and everyone and arrange prorated refunds.
All punch cards and gift cards and daycare packages will be honored up to the September 19 closing.
